NATURE & WILDLIFE ASSOCIATION CO-FOUNDER ANDY MERK TOOK PART IN THE
8th IUCN AsESG MEETING IN GUWAHATI, ASSAM, INDIA
Andy Merk was one of the 77 participants at the first AsESG meeting in 14 years chaired by Vivek Menon.
The three days spent together resulted in reviewing the outcomes of existing Working Groups, the status of Asian Elephants in Range States (as presented by the respective range state representatives), formalizing a working draft of the logo for the group and in finalizing the Program Manager.
